On a beautiful Thursday in April, Brisbane shoppers embraced community hub James Street ready to fill their closets at the annual Marie Claire Up Late shopping night. This annual Brisbane event was jam packed with one-night-only discounts from local businesses, giveaways and lots of in-store marketing brand activations to impress visitors alike.

Experiential marketing and brand activation specialists, Gathering Events had the pleasure of working with some of Australia’s best brands to help them bring their brand to life through marketing activation’s and pop ups to keep guests entertained.

Keeping customers refreshed whilst they browsed their latest collection, we created an in store pop up Aperol Spritz bar for Bec & Bridge. Talking to the store – the team commented on the experiences its customers had whilst grabbing a cocktail, and the benefits of the bar, and its support to their marketing campaign on the night.

Making an impact in the main outdoor event area, our mobile Caravan Bar for hire was custom branded and home to The Daily Edited for the night. This unique pop up shop was the perfect setting to feature their products, and to host their on site monogram machine, allowing shoppers to purchase and personalise their new items and gifts on the spot. The team at TDE elected to brand the Caravan with their logos, designed and installed by the branding team at Gathering Events.

Meanwhile down the street, the decision between salty or sweet was one of the toughest of the night with our nostalgic yet modern popcorn cart for hire. Aje brought shoppers in store with our mobile popcorn cart that sat pretty out the front of their store, offering complimentary and delicious popcorn which was handed out by our charming popcorn cart attendant. To make it even more impressive, our mobile cart and popcorn cups were custom branded to really bring the brand to life.

A few stores down, Kookai kept customers coming back for more with their custom branded donut cart. On the catering menu for the night were delicious donuts, specifically created by Gathering Events to feature their new seasonal blue colour spectrum, because you can never have too many blue sprinkles or icing!
